The scope of my advice, and the cost of my service.
Mortgage advice across a broad range of circumstances.
Buying your first home comes with a lot of "firsts." I'll walk you through deposits, schemes, and what you can realistically borrow, step by step.
Coming to the end of your current deal? Whether it's switching, refinancing, or just staying put, I'll check what actually makes sense for you.
Sometimes the right move is simply switching to a new deal with your existing lender, no full remortgage needed. I'll tell you when that's the better option.
Whether it's your first rental property or you're growing a portfolio, I'll help you secure the mortgage that gets it done.
Being self-employed shouldn't make getting a mortgage harder than it needs to be. I know which lenders tend to make sense for your situation.
Protection advice, matched to what actually matters to you.
Pays out a lump sum to your family if you die during the policy term, so they're not left without support.
Pays out a lump sum if you're diagnosed with a specified serious illness, giving you breathing room when it matters most.
Replaces part of your income if you're unable to work due to illness or injury, so your ability to pay the bills doesn't stop, just because your income has.
Buildings and contents cover, to protect the place you've worked hard to get.
Specialist cover for rental properties: the building, any contents you provide, and your liability as landlord — with loss-of-rent cover available too, if the property becomes unlettable.
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. Some forms of Buy to Let mortgage are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Somewhere, someone always pays for it — either you, in a fee, or your broker, in the attention they can actually give you. A lot of brokers choose the second option, paid purely on commission. That works well for plenty of people, genuinely.
I've chosen the first. I do still receive commission — I'm always upfront about that — but I also charge a flat £299 fee, payable once your mortgage offer's actually been produced. Not upfront, not on application. Just once there's something real on the table.
That fee is what lets me take on fewer clients and give each one my proper time, rather than needing high volume to make the numbers work.
There is no broker fee for protection — that's covered by commission alone.
